Black Unicorn Library

The Black Unicorn Library is contributing a wing to the Dead Drop Library in collaboration with Iyapo Repository.

Black Unicorn Library & Archives Project lives at the intersection of literacy, art, and history, focusing on the contributions of Black women, queer & trans people of color. The project was founded by Bekezela Mguni, who holds a Masters in Library & Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and was named an Emerging Artist & Judge’s Choice in the 2016 Three Rivers Arts Festival.

To visit the physical collection, The Black Unicorn’s Pop-Up Reading Room is hosted at 732 E Warrington Avenue in Allentown through the support of Boom Concepts Studios & INdustry on INdustry program.
